BETABAT will participate to the execution of the new 500 MW Deir Ammar Power Plant project, through a cooperation agreement signed with the successful bidder J&P-AVAX of Greece, (JOANNES & PARASKEVIDES) who secured the contract for the construction of the new power plant, under a 490 Million $ agreement with the Lebanese Ministry of Electricity. The contract has been signed on April 12, 2013. The execution period of the complete project will be 24 months.
